Much-needed winter rains have created a breathtaking display of color in the Valley’s foothills.

Already in bloom are fields of orange poppies and fiddlenecks, yellow wild mustard, white popcorn flowers, red maids and blue cluster lilies, as well as bushes of purple flowering lupine.

The Bee is encouraging its readers to get out and enjoy the wildflowers – and the tree blossoms – then submit their flowery photos for possible inclusion in the April 7 ArtHop exhibit at The Bee.

Photos will be printed for the exhibit, displayed for the month of April, then given to the photographer.
