Fresno EOC to host human trafficking conference

Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission will host its seventh annual Conference on Human Trafficking at the Radisson Hotel on Feb. 24.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Be Free” and will explore a multidisciplinary approach to regional partnerships, identification and recovery for victims of human trafficking.

The conference opens for registration around 9 a.m., pre-conference workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and the conference will end around 5 p.m. The Radisson Hotel is at 1055 Van Ness Ave., Fresno. Additional information is at the EOC website at http://www.fresnoeoc.org/cvaht/conference.

The event is being organized in partnership with Central Valley Freedom Coalition and other organizations. Around 370 people are expected to attend the sold-out conference.
