Sierra Vista Mall hosts National Make A Blanket Day Saturday
Sierra Vista Mall will be hosting the Project Linus National Make A Blanket Day on Saturday in an effort to provide warmth and comfort for children in need.
The blanket drive seeks new, handmade, washable blankets and afghans, with quilts being assembled at the mall’s community room at 1050 Shaw Ave. in Clovis.
Project Linus hopes to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need by the simple donations of blankets; the drive will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All ages and skill levels of quilters and sewers are welcome to attend.
