Break the Barriers HOPE program getting $42,000 worth of donated equipment

The Break the Barriers HOPE program is getting $42,000 of training tools donated on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

The HOPE program provides intense, activity-based therapy for those recovering from neurological conditions and diseases.

The event for the donation is at 10 a.m. at Break the Barriers at 8555 N. Cedar Ave.

StimDesigns, in conjunction with Fresno Rotary chapters (The Rotary Club of Fresno, East Fresno Rotary Club, Fig Garden Rotary Club, North Fresno Rotary Club, Fresno Sunrise Rotary Club, Fresno Cultural Arts Rotary, Rotary Club of Clovis), Producers Dairy, Octavia Diener and Henry Barkett, will present the program with three neuromuscular Galileo Training products valued at $42,400 during the event.

The mission of Break the Barriers, started by Deby and Steve Hergenrader in 1985, is to “break all barriers experienced by people with different abilities.”
