Crash kills 1 near San Joaquin in Fresno County

One person was killed and a second seriously injured in a collision Wednesday near San Joaquin, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash between a pickup and a second vehicle occurred about 4:35 p.m. near West Manning Avenue and McMullin Grade. The person killed was reportedly pinned inside one of the vehicles.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office is on the way to the scene.
