The Fresno Police Department welcomed 17 new employees at a swearing-in ceremony Monday morning at City Hall.

The new employees:

Police Officer Recruits: Clemente Castillo, Chadwick Chang, Jaime Casillas, Robert Guzman, Cesar Linares, Ozell Murray, Phu Nguyen, Kaosoy Saechao, Malcolm Walls.

Lateral Police Officer: Benjamin Wagnon, Jeffrey Gardner.

Police Cadet I: Tyler Beckwith, Brandon Carr, Luis Galindo, Elexis Scott.

Administrative Clerk: Josephina Garcia, Crystal Penaloza.
