Poverello House to receive $100,000 donation

Class 45 of the California Agricultural Leadership Program will present Poverello House with a $100,000 donation Feb. 6 at Fresno State.

The donation, which will be gifted in conjunction with Class 45’s commencement ceremony, will be presented at Fresno State at 10 a.m. on Feb. 6 in North Gym, Room 118.

The money for the donation came from individuals and organizations around California.

The California Agricultural Leadership Program is a leadership development class for mid-career agricultural leaders. Class 45 will honor 24 members of the class at the commencement.

The Poverello House will use the money donated by Class 45 to purchase a food truck, which will provide hot meals and fresh produce to rural communities in the San Joaquin Valley.
