Police investigating early morning Fresno crash

Fresno police are investigating a crash in which a female was killed early Monday.

About 1:21 a.m., the male driver of an Infiniti was apparently attempting to negotiate the eastbound onramp to Highway 180 from northbound Marks Avenue when he lost control and rolled the vehicle, police said.

Officers found the male covered in blood lying in the roadway and learned the female also was in the vehicle when the crash occurred.

Detectives are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor.
