Merced woman killed in overnight crash

A 25-year-old Merced woman died late Tuesday night in a one-vehicle collision near Chowchilla, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The CHP said the victim was driving north on Minturn Road in a 2012 Chrysler north of Chowchilla Boulevard when she veered off the roadway and struck a telephone pole. She died at the scene. The collision is under investigation.
