3 Madera County Sheriff’s Office employees promoted, 2 new deputy sheriffs sworn in
Three Madera County Sheriff’s Office employees were promoted and two new deputy sheriffs were sworn into office on Sunday.
Rainbow Ausburn, an employee since Dec. 2006, was promoted to a Senior Program Assistant and will be the Lead Records Clerk in absence of a Records Supervisor.
Robert Blehm, an employee since Nov. 2011, and Joseph Wilder, an employee since Apri. 2004, were promoted to sergeants. Blehm previously worked for the California Department of Justice and the Madera Police Department, Wilder was an explorer with the sheriff’s office from 1997 until 2004.
Samnang “Sam” Thach and Bradford Funk were sworn into office as deputy sheriffs. Thach has worked in law enforcement in the Central Valley since 2011. Funk was sworn in as a deputy sheriff pending his joining the sheriff’s office later this month. Funk has worked in law enforcement in the Central Valley since 2007.
