Two hurt in Visalia crash involving motorcycle

A motorcyclist and a driver were injured in a traffic collision Wednesday evening in Visalia, police said.

Police said a Harley Davidson motorcycle was riding west around 7 p.m. on Mineral King Avenue at West Street when it struck a Toyota Corolla turning west onto Mineral King.

The motorcycle rider, Jeffrey Roberts, 48, suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment. He remains in serious but stable condition. The Corolla driver, Barbaree Monque, 40, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from the Kaweah Delta Medical Center.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
