Woman, 2 men sought in Fresno home invasion
Police are looking for three suspects after a Monday morning home invasion in central Fresno.
Police say the robbery attempt took place about 10:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of East Clinton Avenue, near Millbrook Avenue. A woman in the home reportedly answered the door when a woman knocked on the door and asked to borrow a cell phone and was allowed inside. Two male suspects then forced their way in and pepper sprayed a man before striking him in the head. The victim shouted that there were children in the home and this may have frightened the attackers into leaving. They fled in a red Dodge Ram pickup.
Lt. Joe Gomez said the attackers were a white female in her 30s wearing a blue sweater, gray sweatpants and UGG boots; a white male adult in his 30s about 5-feet, 8-inches tall wearing a black shirt; and a white male adult also about 5-feet, 8-inches tall wearing a blue-gray beanie and black shirt. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
