A Ford Focus rear-ended a semi-truck on southbound Highway 99 in central Fresno on Saturday morning, causing a roadway hazard and slowing traffic to a halt, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. north of the Highway 180 overpass.

No major injuries were reported in the crash, but it was just one of many crashes to happen across Fresno County on Saturday.

CHP said that the rain coupled with unsafe driving speeds continue to cause crashes, and warned people to slow down to accommodate the wet conditions.
