Ramp closures and detour near Highway 99 in Fresno

Construction on the west side of Highway 99 in Fresno will result in connector ramp closures for five months starting Dec. 28.

The southbound Highway 99 Clinton Avenue off-ramp connector to Golden State Boulevard and the connector ramp from West Vassar Avenue to North Golden State Boulevard will be closed for approximately five months to complete construction of new retaining walls, the California Department of Transportation said.

Detours for both ramp closures will run through Olive Avenue.

Commuters are reminded to follow all road closure signs and watch for road construction vehicles and personnel at all times.
