Fresno police arrest 19-year-old suspect in a November shooting

A 19-year-old was arrested by the Fresno police SWAT team on Dec. 14 for a November shooting in southeast Fresno.

Police detectives identified Johnathan Aguilar, 19, as the suspect in a shooting that occurred on Nov. 22 at around 1:39 a.m. at 3072 E. Ventura Ave. near Ventura Avenue and First Street. Police found a victim that suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her bicep.

Aguilar was later booked into the Fresno County Jail on numerous charges. The Fresno County District Attorney filed charges on Dec. 16 that include assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an inhabited dwelling and weapons.
