Downtown draws another business, signs of revitalization anew
Veteran Fresno-area tech entrepreneur J. Colin Petersen, President & CEO of J - I.T. Outsource, is making a big move for his Clovis-based company, transferring all 36 of his employees in August and moving the business to downtown Fresno.
The tech-based company will be making their new home on the fifth floor of the Pacific Southwest Building on the Fulton Mall. In honor of the transition, Petersen hosted a celebration Wednesday night in the building’s ballroom, inviting around 200 guests to the VIP Christmas Feast.
Petersen said he was excited for the move, excited to return to his home and become a part of the revitalization movement in downtown Fresno.
“With Bitwise flanking both ends of Van Ness, Enigma Creative on Fulton, (Building Owner) Sevak Khatchadourian’s Creative Workspace and One Sense downstairs, and my exciting team filling in right here in Fresno’s tallest sky scraper, our new Tech Corridor is only getting more interesting,” Petersen said.
