Sheriff’s Office locates relatives of man found dead in Fresno

Authorities have located relatives of a man found dead Oct. 13 behind a building on the southeast corner of Blackstone and Belmont Avenues in Fresno.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office put out a call Wednesday for help locating family members or friends of Anthony Herrera, 37.

The county Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that relatives had been found.

The Coroner’s Office needed to contact family in order to release the body for a proper burial.
