Construction to close roads in Fresno starting Monday

Sections of roads in northwest and southwest Fresno will shut down for an improvement project starting Monday, the city of Fresno said.

Santa Fe Avenue will be closed between Palo Alto Avenue and Figarden Drive until Dec. 14, and Orange Avenue will be closed between North and Central avenues until Dec. 4.

Detours will be in place in both directions.
