Fresno and Clovis firefighters ask the public to ‘Fill-the-Boot’

Firefighters will ask the public to “Fill-the-Boot” at intersections across Fresno and Clovison Dec. 10 to raise funds for the Central California Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Members of the Fresno and Clovis fire departments will be at Shaw and Blackstone avenues, Nees and Blackstone avenues, and Shaw and Clovis avenues from 7 a.m.-noon.

The nationwide fundraiser is in its 60th year and helps MDA provide services such as medical clinics, medical equipment and an annual youth summer camp.
