Sanger receives $500,000 transportation grant

Sanger was awarded a $513,000 grant from Caltrans for its active tansportation program.

The money will be used by the city to reduce traffic issues around two schools – Washington Academic Middle School and Madison Elementary School. Safer pedestrian routes will be built to help keep kids walking or riding bikes safe and active.
