Rescue Mission thrift store back in business
A week after the roof collapsed at the Fresno Rescue Mission Thrift Store and Cars, the store is back in business in a large tent set up in the parking lot at 181 E. Sierra Ave., just east of Blackstone Avenue.
A spokeswoman said the the store received donations from the community that helped pay for the tent. The mission also has secured a large processing center around the corner from its G Street campus on Van Ness and Woodrow avenues. The mission will use the tent while deciding what to do with the damaged building.
