Baird Middle School will host “Fuel up to Play 60” on Monday, Nov. 2 at 8:30 a.m. in the hope of educating students on the importance of good nutrition and regular exercise.
The program also features guest appearances from NFL players.
The program stems from the Fresno Unified School District being selected for the “Fuel Up to Play 60” program which brings innovative training to schools to encourage good nutrition and 60 minutes a day of physical activity.
At Baird Middle School, teachers will be trained on how to use flag football physical education instructional kits.
