School board recall elections waged Tuesday

Various school board and service district elections will involve certain voters in Fresno, Tulare and Kings counties on Tuesday.

Voters in the Selma and Golden Plains school districts will decide who wins in recall elections. Voters in the West Hills Community College District, which covers parts of Fresno and Kings counties, will also pick trustees.

In Fresno, voters in the Fig Garden area will chose directors for their fire protection district.

In the Tulare County town of Richgrove, five people are vying for two seats on the Richgrove Community Services District board.

Voting by mail has already started, and voters can chose to go to the polls on Tuesday as well. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

No elections are being conducted in Madera County this fall.
