Free cat vaccination offered for Mendota residents
The Central California Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will offer a free cat vaccination for Mendota residents on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rojas Pierce Park.
Low-cost vaccinations for dogs will also be offered.
For dogs, the rabies vaccination is $6 and the DHPP vaccination is $12, or both can be done for $16.
Additional services like microchips for $12, flea preventative for $10, and de-wormer for both cats and dogs for $5 will also be offered. Special bundle prices for all services are available.
The clinic was made possible by a grant given to the CCSPCA to help reduce the cat overpopulation in Mendota.
As part of the grant stipulations, after the cats receive their vaccinations a free spay or neuter surgery will be offered in late November.
For more information, please contact the CCSPCA at 559-233-7722 ext 107.
