A section of Highway 99 will close late Sunday night and again Tuesday night so crews can put up overhead signage starting Sunday, the California Department of Transportation said.
Southbound lanes near the Highway 198 interchange will close on Sunday and Tuesday from 11 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following morning.
In preparation, southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane starting at 7 p.m. both nights.
A detour will be in effect, Caltrans said.
