Fresno couple honeymoons along Mexico’s coast and depart before hurricane hits
Noah Hubbard Fast and his wife, Aurora Hubbard Fast, of Fresno were married earlier this month. They spent a nine-day honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, leaving for home Wednesday afternoon.
“We had a great time,” Noah Fast said, adding that the weather along Mexico’s west coast was hot and humid.
He said they knew nothing at the time about a huge hurricane bearing down on the area. Noah Fast learned differently when he got up Thursday to head to his job as a database administrator at Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation.
Noah Fast told his wife about the fortunate timing of their departure.
“Look at what’s coming,” he said.
At the same time, he said, he and his wife thought about the wonderful people they had met and the marvelous sights they had enjoyed in Puerto Vallarta.
What will happen?
“It was very sobering,” Noah Fast said.
