A community forum to discuss the progress and impact of the Mental Health Services Act will take place at the Falls Event Center in northwest Fresno on Nov. 5.

Sponsored by the Mental Health Oversight and Accountability Commission’s Client and Family Leadership Committee and Cultural Competence Committee, the forum runs from 3to 6:30 p.m. at 4105 W. Figarden Drive.

Several discussion groups have been organized so that participants will feel safe to share their experiences about mental health services. The groups include family and service providers, parents and caregivers, clients, administrators, youth and Spanish speakers.

Attendees are asked to RSVP to: mhsoac@mhsoac.ca.gov.
