Adoption resource fair set for Oct. 31 in Fresno

Assembly Member Jim Patterson, in partnership with City Without Orphans, is hosting a workshop for prospective adoptive and foster parents on Oct. 31 at the Family Community Church in Fresno.

The workshop will include foster care basics, information on private domestic, county and international adoptions, tips on choosing the right agency and adoption finances.

The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the church, at 2434 E. Nees Ave. in Fresno.
