Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a traffic collision Sunday in northeast Fresno, police said.
The accident happened shortly after 4 p.m. when a truck was stopped in the eastbound, left turn lane of Bullard Avenue and First Street.
The traffic signal for northbound and southbound traffic was green, but the driver of the truck believed his left turn signal had turned green and he entered the intersection to make his left turn, police said.
The truck then struck a Chrysler that was traveling south on First Street through the intersection at Bullard Avenue.

The truck sustained major damage, while the Chrysler sustained moderate damage.
The driver of the Chrysler was a 30-year-old woman and her passenger was a 52-year-old woman.
The two women complained of pains, but there were no other injuries.
Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor, police said.
