The Big Fresno Fair has received a $300,000 gift from the Jacobsen and Laub Family.

The surprise gift, the largest family contribution recorded in fair history, will support the fair and the Fresno County Historical Museum.

The Jacobsen and Laub family works as third-generation farmers in Easton.

For over 70 years, the family has been agribusiness advocates and steward leaders with The Big Fresno Fair.

The gift was announced at the annual Past Board of Directors dinner held at the Fresno County Historical Museum at The Big Fresno Fair.

Fair organizers joined with many local businesses and groups, including The Bee, the Fresno Historical Society, Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame and area law enforcement agencies, to create a variety of exhibits at the museum.
