Closure on Interstate 5 in Fresno County postponed

The closure of northbound Interstate 5 in Fresno County has been postponed until further notice, Caltrans said.

The detour was planned for Wednesday and traffic was expected to be diverted at the Highway 33 interchange.

Drivers were originally instructed to exit at Highway 33 and continue north to Manning Avenue; then west to access the Manning Avenue northbound on-ramp to Interstate 5.

The closure was scheduled because of construction at the Tumey Gulch Bridge.
