Central Valley Veterans holds open house for new house

Central Valley Veterans is holding an open house Thursday for the new Hospitality House that will provide short-term housing to families with loved ones at the Fresno VA Hospital as well as emergency housing to homeless veteran families.

The event is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 2035 E. Princeton Ave.

Central Valley Veterans has long dreamed of purchasing a home that would provide this respite housing for families at no-cost, they said. This dream became a reality thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor who provided the funding.

Donations to the Hospitality House will be accepted at the event or on the organization’s website.
