Are you ready for a wild weekend? Big Fresno Fair roars ahead

Roaming dinosaurs, a display of newspaper sculptures and a lot of tasty and unusual food awaits visitors to The Big Fresno Fair this weekend.

Of course, there’ll be horse racing, midway rides, vendors galore, concerts and much more.

The fair’s 12 day-run heads into its first weekend Saturday and closes a week from Sunday on Oct. 18.

The recent span of good weather is expected to hold, with daily high temperatures in the low to mid 90s and overnight lows in the low 60s.

Weekend headliners in the Paul Paul Theater include pop-rappers Jack & Jack on Saturday afternoon, singer Roberto Tapia on Sunday night and oldies favorite Paul Anka on Monday night. Saturday night’s Gabriel Iglesias concert sold out online.
