Fire crews contain 8-acre wildfire near Coalinga
A small wildfire south of Coalinga kept firefighters busy for several hours Wednesday, Cal Fire spokesman Ryan Michaels said.
The first call came in at 2:30 p.m. about the fire near Firestone Avenue just west of Highway 198.
Just over eight acres of land near the mountain area were burned before crews got full containment, Michaels said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
