Several hurt in three-vehicle crash in central Fresno

Several people were injured in a three-vehicle collision early Thursday in central Fresno at Van Ness and Belmont avenues.

Witnesses said the traffic signal at the intersection was turning from yellow to red when a northbound SUV collided with a westbound Honda just before 8 a.m. The Honda then careened into a pickup truck parked in a lot on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Police are working to determine who was at fault.

Police said none of the injuries appears to be life-threatening.
