Waiters Race lets food service employees display their speed, balance skills

Fleet-footed food service employees vied for more than tip money Thursday in the 22nd annual Waiters Race in downtown Fresno.

About 100 food service employees competed for a total of $7,000 awarded to top finishers. Competitors who finished first in their division with all items still on their trays were declared the winners.

The event is presented annually by the Visalia Breakfast Lions Club.
