Fresno Grizzlies to be honored at Fresno City Hall Thursday

The Fresno Grizzlies will be honored Thursday morning by the Fresno City Council for winning the Pacific Coast League championship and the Minor League Baseball national championship.

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and public is invited to attend. Parking around City Hall will be free until 10 a.m.

In addition to an official proclamation, the city will raise the team’s “Growlifornia” flag over City Hall after the ceremony.

General manager Derek Franks and team mascot Parker will also be in attendance. The Pacific Coast League trophy will be on display at City Hall Thursday morning.
