A fundraiser to help families living in rural areas of Cambodia will take place at the Wat Ratanak Mondol Buddhist Temple located at 3066 E. North Ave. in southwest Fresno on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Donations will be accepted. The fundraising effort is being spearheaded by Fresno police detective Danny Kim, who assisted his parents last year with a charity mission to Cambodia, the family’s homeland.

Donations will help build water wells to provide clean water to families and school supplies for children.

Food, vendors, karaoke and Khmer traditional dance performers will be present. Admission is free.

For more information, call Danny at 559-301-4739 or Sopheak at 209-623-8468.
