Volunteers sought for Tule River cleanup
Volunteers are invited to join a cleanup project of the Tule River on Saturday and Sunday.
The Wild Places nonprofit group will be wrapping up its eighth year of its Rio Limpio: Tule River clean-up, outreach and education project.
Volunteers will meet at Springville Memorial Park in Springville for orientation and sign in at 9 a.m. each day. They will spend mornings collecting trash and recycling and removing graffiti.
Hours may count toward high school graduation community service requirements.
