Madera man dies when tractor flips

A 37-year-old Madera man died Tuesday when the tractor he was driving overturned on Avenue 11 at Road 24 1/2, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash occurred at 3:15 p.m. as the unidentified driver was westbound on 11 and for an unknown reason lost control of the tractor and the rear end flipped over the front. The driver died at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
