Fire destroys Clovis house, seven displaced
A family of seven has been displaced after their house was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning, a Clovis fire official said.
The fire was reported at 4:30 a.m. near Beverly and Sunnyside avenues in Clovis, said fire Battalion Chief Jim Damico.
Three people were transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno Sunday morning, Damico said. The extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
The family turned down Red Cross assistance, stating they will be staying with family and friends.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
