Highway 269 lanes to close in Kings County next week
Highway 269 in Kings County will undergo lane closures next week because of a construction project between Avenal and the Fresno County and Kings County line, Caltrans said.
The highway will be reduced to one-way traffic control from Monday through Sept. 18 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Crews will be conducting one-way traffic control at this location and during the day with the use of a pilot car and flagging personnel through the work zone. Caltrans is reminding drivers to obey flagging personnel and pay close attention to road construction vehicles and personnel.
Drivers should expect a 15-minute delay and are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible, Caltrans said.
The schedule is subject to change.
