Central Valley SCORE to host business contest for women

Central Valley SCORE in Fresno will host InnovateHer2016: Innovating for Women Business Challenge and Summit.

The U.S. Small Business Administration, in partnership with Microsoft, launched the nationwide competition to find the most innovative products and services that impact women’s lives.

Competitions will run locally until Dec. 2.

National Finalists will have a chance to present a live pitch to a panel of expert judges and compete for up to $70,000 in cash prizes provided by Microsoft.

The final round will be held March 17, 2016, in Washington, D.C., during Women’s History Month.

SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration, and has been mentoring small business owners for more than forty years.
