Small north Fresno apartment explosion possibly due to honey oil
Officers responding to a call about a possible honey oil explosion in north Fresno found a couple cases of butane lighter fluid and blood droplets but no people.
Honey oil, also known as hash oil or liquid cannabis, is a highly concentrated form of marijuana.
Saturday at about 8:30 p.m., officers went to the Island Lakes Apartments on First Street across from Kastner Intermediate School and saw smoke coming from an upstairs unit. The apartment was empty but there had been a small explosion.
Officers contacted all the local hospitals but no one showed up with injuries related to the explosion.
No other information was available.
