Visalia man in fatal car accident identified
A man who died in a single-car accident in Tulare County has been identified as Jay Rodriguez, 27, of Visalia, the Tulare County Coroner’s Office said.
About 5 a.m. Sunday , Rodriguez was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla west on Avenue 280 east of Farmersville at about 55 mph when he lost control and hit a utility pole, the California Highway Patrol said.
He died at the scene. The accident appears to be alcohol related, the CHP said.
