Yosemite officials seek help in finding missing 39-year-old man

James Michael Millet, Jr.. 39, has been reported missing in Yosemite National Park, according to park officials. He has gone missing since a day hike there on Aug. 11, 2015.

Yosemite National Park officials are asking for the public’s help to locate a 39-year-old man who has been missing after a day hike there three weeks ago.

James Michael Millet, Jr., planned to hike to Upper Yosemite Fall area on Aug. 11. He has not returned to his vehicle.

He is described as white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Park officials ask that if you were in the area of North Dome and Upper Yosemite Fall between Aug. 11 and Aug. 15, or have information about Millet, call the park’s emergency communications center at 209-379-1992.
