Clovis boy pulled from pool identified

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has identified the 3-year-old boy who died after he was found unresponsive in an indoor Clovis swimming pool as Tyler Jay of Clovis.

Tyler was found unresponsive around noon at Swim America, 1205 N. Willow Ave., off Nees Avenue, on Thursday. Police officers who responded to the scene helped administer CPR until an ambulance took the boy to Saint Agnes Medical Center. He was later transferred to Valley Children’s Hospital where he died at 10:20 p.m., the sheriff’s office said.
