El Concilio de Fresno will host the third annual Symposium of Chicano History Revisited in Fresno County on Saturday at Sal Mosqueda Community Center in southeast Fresno.
The event will run from noon to 5 p.m. There is no admission charge.
This year’s symposium will feature two panels:
▪ The roles of art, music and poetry during the Chicano movement in the 1960s and 1970s in Fresno County.

▪ TV, radio and print media during the same era.
The day also will include entertainment, a raffle and a silent auction.
Community members are encouraged to donate any historical items related to the movement from 1965-85 for use in an archive at the Fresno County Library. News articles, magazines, books, flyers, tapes, films, photos, posters and buttons will be collected. El Concilio de Fresno can scan these items and return them if needed.
