Crews respond to two broken water mains in Fresno
Crews are responding to a broken water main in northeast Fresno, said Mark Standriff, spokesman for the City of Fresno.
Reports came in around 6:30 p.m. Friday that water was flooding the roadway in the area of Portland Avenue and Eighth Street.
Work crews were busy with another broken water main in southeast Fresno but were responding to this new break, Standriff said. The water main is underground and will be shut off so crews can access it and begin repairs.
