Missing at-risk 9-year-old boy with special needs found safe in Delano
A 9-year-old boy who went missing early Monday morning has been found safe in Delano, about 10 miles west from where he went missing, Tulare County Sheriff’s office says.
The boy, who has autism, was reported missing from the small city of Richgrove, a predominantly Hispanic census-designated place in rural Tulare County, 35 miles north of Bakersfield.
Detectives searched for the missing child who was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, black sweatpants, and black Crocs. The child was considered at risk because of his age and medical needs.
